Septemberfest!!

Today is Howies B-day and so after maiking him coffee and letting him read a magazine that he wanted to read, we went to Septemberfest in Schaumburg. Now Last year we went and had a wonderful time it was nice and warm out as it was today we walked through the craft fair and howie dealt with the throng of people THIS YEAR NOWAY! he wans't dealing with all the people, Gabe got to go on the carnival rides, and that was it!! I did get my funnel cake and Gabe got a drink in an alien mug which he loved. I didn't get to see the craft fair Howie was done. 2 hours lets go home. We get back to the car, and on our window is a ticket!!! $250.00 Happy birthday from the police department of Schaumburg!!! That will show Howie that you just can't park anywhere because he was to impatinet and OMG have to walk. we are home now and both the boys are fast asleep. happy b-day honey.

A Wonderful Weekend At Expo

Well, I am back from Expo in St. Charles. I had a great time mostly being away from my daily routine and doing something that i enjoyed and relaxed me. I met up with lots of friends, made some new ones and WENT SHOPPING. I was a little disappointed that some of the vendors that were there last year were not there this year. but still I had fun, we went swimming, went to classes at the seminar and went to a 6 hour crop on saturday nite.

whooo hoo!!

I just looked at my calendar and realized that Scrapbook Expo is FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!It is the only time Howie doesn't complain about me being gone for 3 days. It is a vacation i am really looking forward to. granted its only an hour away in St Charles, Illinois but for me it will feel like 1000's of miles and i will come back wayyyyy refreshed!! I plan on taking tons of pics and meeting all my Il Scrapper friends and hopefully make some new ones.
Nicole and i will be at the saturday crop and lots of classes before hand. I am sooooooo stoked i think you will have to peel me off the ceiling.

The Book is 98% Complete

My Labor of love is almost complete except for a few minor tweaks. I can't believe I started this in late May with ABSOLUTLY no clue on how to start a book like this. Lucky for me she wrote out a whole story from conception to when the baby passed away.

One of my friends on my yahoo group sent me pics of layouts she did for a book similar to this one and there was my inspiration.Thank you Nicole B!! I scraplifted some of the layouts, thinking i was only going to make 12 or so. The book wound up with 40 pages and i am giving her more so she can add them if she wishes along with a bag of scrapbook extras so she can make pages if she wishes or add stuff to the ones i made. Im really glad i got a chance to be able to do this.

I will be giving it to the parents on Saturday so they will have it for the babys 1 year Memorial.

another beautiful busy weekend

First off, i want to do a shout out to my new friend BEV, HEY! she found my blog and then we found out that we live in the same town and only a couple of blocks from each other. She is on vacation for a bit so she will see this when she returns. Thank you for telling me how to get pics in here i will be sure to post more pics.
At the moment i am just gearing up to go to work. but i had some stuff to do on THE BOOK first so i am not so busy with it after work. Only a few small details remain to be done and on monday i will call them to set up a time for the big unveiling. I also got them presents and a shadow box. Looking forward to seeing them look through the book. I will definitly take pics. oh yeah i have to put that on my list.......
This weekend i am going to a crop at my friend Kamis' house. It's an every other friday event and it is an absolute blast. (Again MOMMY TIME very important) it's also payday which is really nice!! Saturday i want to go to Archivers for their MNT weekend special. will probably have to take boobah (my nickname for Gabe) with. then to the post office. the rest of the day i will hopefully work on THE BOOK. Sunday i have a MANDATORY meeting at work. yikes.
I'm coming up to my one year review........double yikes. I will be with Old Chicago A YEAR on August 9th.

Took Gabe to toys R us on Monday and let him look around, so i can get some ideasa as to what to get him for his birthday. He found the toy tools( why am i not surprized?) yes my little truck driver turns 4 in september and as usual i am stuck with wondering what to get him ( this is of course after I go through his room and bag up all the toys he doesn't use any more which would be just about everything except for some trucks and his play computer)
